Woman Tried to Take Items from Thrift Shop's Dumpster: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say Samantha M. Cooke, 21, of the 1700 block of Railroad Lane, Lower Saucon, was cited for allegedly trespassing at the American Family Services Thrift Shoppe on Leithsville Road.

A woman was cited for trespassing, after she allegedly attempted to remove items from a dumpster at the American Family Services Thrift Shoppe at 1804 Leithsville Road, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.

According to police, Samantha M. Cooke, 21, of the 1700 block of Railroad Lane, Lower Saucon Township, trespassed on the thrift shop property "after hours" at about 11:20 p.m. Aug. 31.

"The property is blocked off with a locked gate and a clearly posted 'no trespassing' sign," police said in their news release, which was issued Thursday.
