Woman High on Meth Left Car in Road to Pee in Woods, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Catherine Beveridge, 53, of Miller Street, Bethlehem Township, will be charged with DUI.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Bethlehem Township woman was arrested after she allegedly left her car in the road to pee on a stranger's property near Apple Street and Wilhelm Road.

In a news release, police said Catherine Beveridge, 53, of the 3600 block of Miller Street, came out of the woods near that intersection to discover that a police car was being obstructed by her vehicle.

Beveridge "admitted that she was peeing" and—after allegedly failing sobriety tests—was determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine and amphetamines, police said.

She will be charged with DUI, they added.
