Wires Were Severed, Brought Down on Car: Police

When wires were brought down in the 2100 block of Snyder Avenue, Lower Saucon Township, police say they caused damage to a car that was parked there.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating to find out what brought down telephone wires on a car in the 2100 block of Snyder Avenue, which is in the Steel City section of the township.

In a news release, police said the wires were found to have been "severed," and that they scratched the paint on the top of the car.

"Due to the wires being severed on both sides, officers believe that a large truck may have traveled down Snyder Avenue and taken it down," the release said.

Police said the incident occurred at about 11:38 a.m. Sept. 4.

Anyone with information about it is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
