The Hellertown Police Department's mobile electronic speed monitoring sign remains in place along Constitution Avenue, near Dimmick Park and the Hellertown Area Library.
The sign displays the speeds of passing vehicles in the 25 mph zone, and records information for analysis by the police.
Since its purchase with grant money, the sign has also been positioned along Main Street and Easton Road.
Constitution Avenue is a main thoroughfare between parts of Hellertown and the Saucon Valley School District campus.
In the summer it also serves as a route for many Lower Saucon Township motorists driving to the Hellertown Community Pool.
