Victim in Alleged I-78 Road Rage Shooting Testifies

Alyssa Csuk, of Bethlehem, was fired at as she drove east on I-78 in Lower Saucon Township in March, according to authorities. Lee Edwin Kish, of Fanwood, N.J., has been charged in the incident.

Following testimony in Northampton County District Court in Lower Saucon Township Wednesday, District Judge David Tidd ruled that there is enough evidence against , for the charges against him—which include attempted homicide—to be forwarded to county court, the Morning Call.

The paper reported that at Kish's preliminary hearing, victim Alyssa Csuk, 39, of Bethlehem, testified about the events that preceded a shot being fired into her vehicle as she passed near the Route 33 interchange in Lower Saucon March 13.

The Express-Times reported that Kish's attorney, Gary Asteak, unsuccessfully argued that there is insufficient evidence to support the charges against Kish, which also include aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, simple assault, possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

Kish remains free on 10 percent of $100,000 bail, although Assistant Northampton County District Attorney Patricia Fuentes Mulqueen called him a threat to the community and argued at the preliminary hearing that his bail should be increased, according to the Express-Times.
