Two Motorists to Be Cited Following Traffic Accident

Two motorists were cited following an accident at Bingen Road and Mountain Drive South Oct. 2, Lower Saucon Township Police announced in a press release Wednesday.

Police said the accident occurred at approximately 6:37pm.

There were no injuries sustained, but the vehicle operated by Matthew Lutcza, 22, of the 100 block of Meadow Ridge Acres Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pa., had to be towed from the scene, police said.

The operator of the other vehicle was identified by police as Robert Rothacker, of the 2000 block of Majestic Overlook Drive, Lower Saucon.

Police said Rothacker will be cited for "Vehicles Turning Left," while Lutcza will be cited for "Traffic Control Signals."

Authorities did not describe the circumstances of the accident in their press release, but several local residents recently complained about poor visibility at the intersection.
