After being approached by a Hispanic male who asked him if he wanted to get rid of any scrap metal, Edward Huff, of 3531 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lower Saucon Township, was the victim of a theft in which several metal objects were taken from in front of his residence, Lower Saucon Township police reported May 5.
According to police, Huff was approached by the man at about 4pm May 4.
Huff reportedly told the man he did not have any scrap metal he wanted to get rid of, and the man then reportedly left with a Hispanic woman in a late 1990s Dodge pickup truck.
The truck was described by police as being "two-tone, light blue over silver with a red pinstripe."
Huff later left his residence and was gone from 7 to 8pm, police said.
Upon returning, police say he discovered that a metal tackle box, three trailer hitch inserts and a section of chain had been taken from in front of his house.
