Township Police Investigating Thefts from Vehicles

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating a pair of thefts from vehicles.

Police in Lower Saucon Township announced Aug. 6 that they are investigating two incidents involving thefts from vehicles in the township.

In the first incident, which police said occurred during the overnight hours of Aug. 4, a number of vintage record albums were reported stolen by Charles Davis, of 1709 Reading Drive.

Police said in a press release that 18 to 20 "old records" were taken from a car at Davis' home.

Among the stolen albums were the Beatles' White Album and two records by the Monkees.

Police said they were able to obtain several fingerprints during their investigation, and asked anyone with information to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.

The other theft from a vehicle occurred during the early hours of Aug. 5, at 1461 Manor Drive, police said.

Police said in a press release that unknown persons entered a Toyota 4Runner that was parked in the driveway and removed a garage door opener, a vehicle owner's manual and a Victorinox Swiss Army tool valued at $150 to $200.
