Township Man Sentenced to Probation for Smashing Spree

Patrick M. Quinn, 25, was sentenced May 31 to four years' probation after earlier pleading guilty to felony criminal mischief in Northampton County Court.

A Lower Saucon Township man who caused thousands of dollars in damage at his girlfriend's family's home on Nancy Lee Court last July was recently sentenced to four years of probation, the Morning Call reported.

Patrick M. Quinn, 25, of Riverside Drive, is also required to pay almost $9,800 in restitution according to the sentence, which was handed down May 31 in Northampton County Court by Judge Michael Koury Jr.

Quinn had earlier pleaded guilty to felony criminal mischief, the newspaper reported.

, Quinn was intoxicated early on the morning of July 24, 2011, when he smashed a variety of items at the residence.

Among the items he reportedly damaged were lamps, a TV, liquor bottles and a car.

Police said that when they found him at the home, Quinn was "alone and bleeding from the hand."
