Township Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault

On Friday, Bryan Tiedeman, 26, of Lower Saucon Township, was sentenced to up to nine years in state prison for a crime that occurred a year ago.

On Friday, a Lower Saucon Township man who in November pleaded guilty to sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault was sentenced by Northampton County Judge Leonard Zito to serve up to nine years in state prison, the Morning Call has reported.

Bryan Tiedeman, 26, won't be eligible for parole until he's served four-and-a-half years of his sentence, and he'll have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, the Feb. 3 story states.

In pleading guilty to the crimes, Tiedeman admitted that he had sex with a woman who had fallen asleep at his Leithsville Road home in February 2011.
