Township Man Charged in Beating That Left Victim With Broken Jaw

A Lower Saucon Township man is accused of initiating a violent assault against a Bethlehem resident over the weekend, according to court records cited in an Express-Times article.

Along with two other men, Cassady Ryan Condash, 29, of the 1400 block of East University Drive, allegedly confronted Thomas Jones near his home in the 500 block of East Morton Street, punching him and yelling "where's the money?" according to a witness cited in the records.

Jones was found semi-conscious on a Southside sidewalk when police responded to a report of an assault in the area, according to the article.

He was reportedly treated at St. Luke's University Hospital for head trauma and a broken jaw.

Condash, , has been charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and possession of a small amount of marijuana, and was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail following his arraignment, according to the Express-Times.

When Condash was arrested in March, township police said they found a small amount of marijuana, Ecstasy pills, a scale with marijuana on it and packaging materials in his possession.

Condash was also , after litter bearing his name was allegedly found in the vicinity of the Bethlehem Star.
