Township Man Blocked Roadway, Harassed Neighbor, Police Say

In a separate incident, police report that a digital trail camera was taken from a tree.

According to police, on March 24 Susan Lane resident Keith Kozlowski blocked the road with his vehicle and prevented a neighbor from reaching his home. Kozlowski, who is charged with harassment, also yelled and screamed at the man until he was forced to park his vehicle and walk home, police said. For additional details about this and other police incidents recently reported in Lower Saucon Township, refer to the blotter below:

  • Harassment, Criminal Mischief - On March 14 at 3:46pm police say they responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at 2089 Saucon Ave. Upon arriving, police say they found Brenda L. Strain and John Strain, both of 2089 Saucon Ave., "separated (and) each stating the other caused injury, starting the fight." According to police, John Strain showed no signs of injury and Brenda Strain "showed no major signs of injury," with her only apparent injury being "some redness on her ear." A juvenile on the scene had also caused property damage, police said, adding that all parties involved in the alleged incident will be "charged appropriately."   
  • DUI - On March 20 at 1:28am police stopped Richard Edward Young, of 1685 Stoke Park Road, Hanover Township, for an alleged traffic violation on Route 378 North. According to police, Young was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of .18 percent. Young has been charged with DUI.
  • Harassment - On March 24 police say Keith Kozlowski, of 2071 Susan Lane, blocked a roadway with his vehicle and prevented Jim McManus, of 2091 Susan Lane, from reaching his residence. According to police, Kozlowski "intentionally exited his vehicle and approached (McManus) yelling and screaming that he (McManus) was supposed to move his vehicle and give right of way." Police say Kozlowski continued to harass McManus until he "felt the only way to get home was to park his vehicle and walk home." Kozlowski has been charged with harassment.
  • Title 35 (Drug) Violations - On March 25 at 10:49pm police say Jenny Rose Scott, 18, of 1961 Lynfield Drive, Bethlehem, and Scott Dealer Jr., 20, of 1044 Crawford St., Bethlehem, were in a vehicle that was stopped for an alleged traffic violation on Lower Saucon Road when they were found to be in possession of marijuana.
  • Theft - On March 26 police received a report of a digital camera stolen from 2507 Alpine Drive. According to police, the victim of the theft placed a digital trail camera on a tree on his property in December 2010. When he looked for the camera March 26 it was gone, police explained. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.
  • Title 35 (Drug) Violations - On March 27 at 11:18pm police stopped Jonathan Morales, 19, of 823 15th Ave., Bethlehem, for an alleged traffic violation on Lower Saucon Road. According to police, Morales was subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana and will receive a summons.
