Three Bikes Stolen from New Jersey Avenue, Police Say

The following incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

  • Terroristic Threats, Harassment - On April 14 at 9:23pm police say Daniel Rodriguez, of 211 Front St., Apt. 11, Hellertown, harassed and terrorized a juvenile male as the juvenile was entering 242 Main Street. Based on information received from the victim, police say they charged Rodriguez with terroristic threats and harassment. Rodriguez was arraigned at central booking in Easton and released on $10,000 unsecured bail pending a preliminary hearing, police said.
  • DUI - On April 16 at 3:32am police stopped William John Geyer III, 58, of 2200 Green Pine Lane, Lower Saucon Township, for an alleged summary traffic violation in the 1000 block of Main Street. According to police, Geyer was subsequently determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. Police said Geyer had a blood alcohol concentration of .15 percent at the time of his testing. Geyer has been charged with DUI.
  • Theft of Bicycle - According to police, sometime between 5pm on April 22 and 12:30pm on April 23 a white and brown Mongoose BMX bike was stolen from the 900 block of New Jersey Avenue. The bicycle is described as having a wide frame, standard wire spoke wheels and hand brakes on both handgrips, and is valued at approximately $100.   • Theft of Bicycles - According to police, sometime between 1pm and 2:30pm on April 23 two bicycles were stolen from the 1000 block of New Jersey Avenue. One bike is described as a vivid green NEXT 20-inch bicycle and the other is a red bike of unknown make and model, police said. Anyone with information regarding these thefts is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040 or 610-759-2200.
