Teen Allegedly Shot Door, Fled With Synthetic Drug

Hellertown Police say a 17-year-old male allegedly shot into a door at a home in the 1000 block of Easton Road before fleeing with a type of synthetic marijuana known as "Black Magic."

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Aug. 25 following an incident that allegedly began at a home in the 1000 block of Easton Road.

According to borough police, officers were dispatched to the home at 10:41am after receiving a report of a "male who was shooting a door in the residence."

The teen fled, but was apprehended a short time later by officers who allegedly recovered from him a loaded pistol, ammunition, carbon dioxide cartridges and a small amount of a type of synthetic marijuana known as "Black Magic."

Police said a referral to juvenile authorities will be sent to the teen via mail.
