Students Cited for Incidents in Saucon Valley Schools

Lower Saucon Township Police Blotter

The following incidents have been reported by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department:

  • DUI - On March 6 at 1:20am police stopped Ronald Beitler, of 54 E. Main St., Lansdale, for allegedly traveling 76mph in a posted 40mph zone on Route 378 south. According to police, Beitler exhibited signs of impairment and failed all field sobriety tests that were administered. Beitler's blood alcohol concentration was later determined to be .17 percent, police said.
  • Harassment - On March 9 at 11:42am police say three Saucon Valley High School students engaged in a physical altercation inside the school during a break between classes. All of three of the students, who are juveniles, were suspended from school for five days and issued non-traffic citations for harassment, police said.
  • Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct - On March 9, police say a student wrote a threatening message in a boys bathroom in Saucon Valley Middle School. The juvenile student who wrote the message was suspended from school and cited for both criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, police said.
  • Motor Vehicle Accident - On March 11 at 2:02pm police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 378 at Seidersville Road. According to police, Amy Gregg, 32, of 526 16th Ave., Bethlehem, crashed into the back end of a vehicle operated by Antoinette Woffard, 48, of 707 N. Front St., Allentown. Gregg will receive a citation for following too closely, police said.
