Rehab Center Worker Stole Patient's Medication, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say an employee of the Weston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 1896 Leithsville Road, was charged with theft after he allegedly stole a patient's medication.

Lower Saucon Township Police say an employee of the Weston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 1896 Leithsville Road, was charged with theft after he allegedly stole a patient's medication.

In a news release issued Monday, police said Jacob Bruch, of the 1800 block of Auburn Street, Bethlehem, has also been charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

Police said the alleged theft took place Nov. 5.

In October, a nurse working at the Weston nursing center was charged with DUI-Controlled Substances, after police said she tried to drive away from the facility while under the influence of "considerable amounts of Oxycodone, Oxymorphone and nearly three times the therapeutic limit of Alprazolam [Xanax]."
