Reading Drive Burglary Under Investigation

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a burglary in the 1800 block of Reading Drive.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a burglary that reportedly occurred in the 1800 block of Reading Drive.

According to police, the June 12 burglary is believed to have occurred while the resident was working in his backyard with his garage door left open.

Police said the resident reported that about $50 in change was taken in a pillowcase, and that "his home was entered with a handgun."

"There were reports of a suspicious Hispanic male and a white female walking in the area with one report of these individuals knocking at a residence," authorities said in the news release.

When they knocked on the door of that home they asked for someone who didn't live there, police said, adding that the resident didn't know the man and woman.

Anyone with information about the Reading Drive burglary is asked to contact Lower Saucon Township Police at 610-317-6110.
