'Property Manager' Called Tenant Names, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Laura Schmidt, of the 2600 block of Applebutter Road, was cited for harassment.

A Lower Saucon Township woman who reportedly told a resident of a multi-unit dwelling she is the "property manager" was cited for harassment after police say she used foul language and called the tenant names in text messages exchanged while the two were discussing rental issues.

In a news release, police said Laura Schmidt, of the 2600 block of Applebutter Road, also told the tenant "Your [sic] lucky I don't come over and hit you."

The exchange between the two women occurred on the evening of Aug. 17, police said.
