Police Warn: White Van Approaches Children in Upper Saucon

Upper Saucon police have warned residents to be on the lookout for a "suspicious" white van that approached two young boys playing in their yard Friday afternoon.

From Upper Saucon Township Police:

"On Friday afternoon at around 1:00 PM on Bittersweet Road (Oakhurst section of the township) a 'large white box type van' with a white male operator stopped in front of a residence and motioned with his hand for two young boys who were in their front yard to come over to the van.

"The boy’s babysitter was walking from the side of the home to the front yard, saw the man motioning and saying something that she could not hear at the boys. At that she yelled for the boys to stop, which they did, and the van, according to the sitter, left at a high rate of speed toward Oakhurst Drive.
