Police Targeting Aggressive Drivers on Rt. 412

Lower Saucon Township Police say they're targeting aggressive drivers along the Route 412 corridor and other nearby roads due to recent complaints from residents.

Lower Saucon Township Police announced in a news release that they are targeting aggressive drivers in the area of the Route 412 corridor, Springtown Hill Road and Flint Hill Road.

According to police, during a recent aggressive driving detail eight traffic citations were issued on Flint Hill Road, nine citations were issued on Springtown Hill Road and two citations were issued on Polk Valley Road.

"Motorists should be aware that more aggressive driving enforcement details are planned for the area due to the increased traffic from the Rt. 412 bridge being closed and (complaints) from residents about aggressive driving (and) speeding," police said.

Lower Saucon Township Police have also been cracking down on aggressive driving along Route 378, issuing 93 citations to motorists from July 8 to Aug. 15.
