Police Seek Owner of Machinery Found in Road

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are seeking information about the owner of a yellow Lincoln Arc Welder that was found in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road Dec. 3.

On the morning of Dec. 3, a yellow Lincoln Arc Welder was apparently being towed when it lost a trailer wheel and became detached from the vehicle that was towing it on Seidersville Road, Lower Saucon Township Police announced Tuesday.

In a press release, police said the welder was recovered in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road, where it struck a PPL pole and "a historic county line marker."

Police said officers arrived to find the piece of machinery "abandoned in the roadway."

The section of Seidersville Road where the welder was found is in between Hickory Hill Road and Mountain Drive North.

Anyone with information about the owner of the equipment is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-317-6110.
