Police Seek Information About Car That Struck Mailboxes

Lower Saucon Township Police say the unidentified operator of a Subaru struck two post-mounted mailboxes on Lower Saucon Road July 29.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are seeking help from the public in identifying the operator of a vehicle that struck two mailboxes on Lower Saucon Road July 29.

In a press release, police said the mailboxes of Brion Vallone, 3903 Lower Saucon Road, and Jeffrey Surovi, 3902 Lower Saucon Road, were struck at approximately 3:30am in a hit-and-run accident.

Pieces of the offending vehicle that were left at the scene indicate that it was a Subaru, police said.

Damage to the steel post that the mailboxes were mounted to "indicates that the Subaru should have moderate to heavy passenger side damage," they added.
