Police Say Resident Was Approached by Two Suspicious Men

Lower Saucon Police urge residents to be cautious if approached by unknown individuals offering to do work.

Lower Saucon Police are urging local residents to be cautious if they are approached by unknown individuals offering to do work in or around their homes.

The announcement was made Tuesday, in connection with a reported Feb. 19 incident involving two suspicious males.

According to police, two white males "of a younger age" and driving a green "CJ7 type" Jeep approached a resident of the Easton Road area regarding tree trimming on her property.

The men, who came to the resident's door, told her they were cutting down trees on her neighbor's property when they noticed that her trees were also in need of trimming, police said.

After declining their offer, the woman checked with her neighbor and discovered that no work had been done on the property, police added.

Residents should "be careful of offers to do work with unknown persons (or) businesses," police cautioned.
