Police Say Juvenile Took Car Without Permission, Got in Accident

The following incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

  • Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle - On March 26 at 3:04pm police say they investigated a report that a vehicle belonging to a resident of the 1400 block of Washington Street had been taken without permission and returned damaged. Police said they discovered that the vehicle had been borrowed by a 17-year-old male without the permission of the resident, and that the juvenile was involved in an accident while the vehicle was in his possession. A charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle has been filed against the juvenile in Northampton County Juvenile Court, police said.
  • Title 35 (Drugs) - On April 24 at 2:13am police say they stopped a vehicle at Kichline Avenue and Main Street for an alleged traffic violation. During the course of an investigation, police said they arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile for a Title 35 (drug-related) violation.
