Police: Purse Stolen from Vehicle at Polk Valley Park

The female owner of the purse had parked her vehicle in the parking lot for the dog park, police said.

A May 28 visit to ended in frustration for a female Hellertown resident, whose purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the dog park parking lot, Lower Saucon Township police reported last week.

The theft occurred between 6 and 6:36pm May 28, which is when the vehicle was broken into, police said.

The vehicle "was broken into by way of prying and eventually braking [sic] (the) passenger front door glass," they added.

Several days after the theft, the purse and its contents were recovered along Lower Saucon Road near , the purse's owner reported.
