Police: Parked Cars Were 'Demolished' in DUI-Related Accident

Police say Heather Parkot, of Kintnersville, was responsible for the Feb. 20 accident that occurred in the 1400 block of Main Street in Hellertown.

According to Hellertown police, a motor vehicle accident that occurred Feb. 20 in the 1400 block of Main Street was DUI-related.

At 10:07pm, police say Heather Parkot, of 1871 Gallows Hill Road, Kintnersville, was driving south on Main Street in a Jeep station wagon when she impacted two parked vehicles, "demolishing both." 

Police say that when they arrived on the scene of the accident, they found Parkot to be under the influence of alcohol. A blood test later administered at St. Luke's Hospital determined that Parkot's blood alcohol concentration was .18 percent, police said.

Parkot has been charged with DUI and driving at an unsafe speed.
