Police Investigating Moravia Street Burglary

Jewelry was taken from a home at 969 Moravia Street July 11, according to Lower Saucon authorities.

Located on the north side of South Mountain, Moravia Street seems more a part of Fountain Hill or Bethlehem than Lower Saucon. But a small portion of the residential thoroughfare passes through the township, and a home in that area was burgled July 11, according to Lower Saucon police.

The home at 969 Moravia Street was broken into sometime between 9am and 2pm via a side door, whose glass was damaged, police said.

An unknown amount of jewelry was taken from the home during the burglary, they added.
