Police: Driver of Mercedes SUV Struck Fence, Drove Off

Lower Saucon Township Police say the fence that was damaged is in the 2000 block of Springtown Hill Road.

Lower Saucon Township Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver of a dark red Mercedes SUV who allegedly struck and damaged a fence in what police have described as a hit-and-run accident.

In a press release, police said the accident occurred in the 2000 block of Springtown Hill Road on Jan. 28 at around 9:30am.

Police said that after the vehicle reportedly slid through a stop sign, it crashed through the fence, "causing significant damage to the front of the Mercedes as well as the fence."

"The driver left in the SUV immediately following the collision," police added.

Anyone with information pertaining to the accident is asked to call Lower Saucon Township Police at 610-317-6110.
