Police: Company Cited for Selling Meat Door-to-Door

Hellertown Police say Capital Meats Inc., of Stephens City, Virginia, was cited for "engaging in temporary business without a required license."

A Virginia company was cited Oct. 23 for allegedly engaging in temporary business without a required license, Hellertown Police announced Wednesday in a press release.

Police said Capital Meats Inc., of Stephens City, Va., violated borough ordinance 140-2 when its representatives engaged in door-to-door sales of meat in the area of Maple Road and Juniper Road, which is in the borough's Mountainview neighborhood.

Police added that a license is required for companies that wish to conduct temporary business, such as door-to-door sales, in Hellertown.
