Police: Borough Man Fired Air Pistol on Main Street

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hellertown Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Hellertown police charged a borough man with disorderly conduct, after he allegedly brandished and fired an air pistol while walking north along Main Street during the early morning hours of May 16.

According to police, it was reported that Joseph Charles Malcolm, 20, of 410 E. High St., was firing the pistol upon the roadway as he walked north in the 1300 block of Main Street.

After officers made contact with Malcolm, a black air pistol was found on his person, police said.

Malcolm is being charged with disorderly conduct, propulsion of missiles onto roadways, and sale and use of air rifles.
