A borough man who was wanted by Upper Saucon Township Police was arrested near his home Nov. 21, Hellertown Police announced Wednesday in a press release.
Pedro Lu Freytes-Ferrer, of 338 Northampton Street, was arrested after officers began to investigate a black Oldsmobile coupe that was wanted by Upper Saucon Township Police for an alleged road rage incident that had just occurred, police said.
After the coupe was observed in the area of 338 Northampton Street, shortly after 5pm, police said it began to move.
Freytes-Ferrer was subsequently stopped in the 300 block of Main Street, where police say he was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. A BB pistol was also found in his possession, authorities added.
Hellertown Police said Freytes-Ferrer was released after being charged, and that charges are pending in the alleged Upper Saucon road rage incident.
