A racially offensive term was written on a woman's car when she didn't park in her normal space near her home, Lower Saucon Township police said in a news release Tuesday.

According to police, on Christmas Day the woman returned to her car—which she had parked in front of 93 Benner Street—to discover the words "Park somewhere else n-----' written on the driver's side window.

Police said the graffiti had been written on the window with "a black marking devise [sic]."

Police said they are investigating the incident as a case of criminal mischief.

Anyone with information about the graffiti is asked to call Lower Saucon police at 610-317-6110.
