New Details Expected Today in Starters Case

A press conference is scheduled to announce new details in a case involving a dead baby found in a restroom toilet tank in a Lower Saucon Township restaurant.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli is expected to announce new details today about a criminal investigation involving a popular Lower Saucon Township sports pub.

Last Monday, it was reported that a dead fetus was found inside a toilet tank in a restroom at Starters Pub on Route 378.

The Morning Call is now reporting, however, that it was a deceased "baby" that was found inside the toilet.

In its article, the newspaper cited Morganelli's choice of wording in an announcement about today's press conference.

In a news release about the discovery last week, Lower Saucon Township Police used the term "human fetus."

Few other details about the investigation have been released, although last week it was revealed that authorities reportedly know who left the baby inside the toilet.

Morganelli's news conference is scheduled for 2 p.m.
