Minor Tried to Buy Alcohol, Police Say

Lower Saucon police say a minor used a fake ID in an attempt to buy alcohol at a liquor store.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a minor from Bethlehem who attempted to buy alcohol at the Wine & Spirits store in the Creekside Marketplace shopping center has been charged with a liquor law violation.

In a news release, police said officers responded to the store at 1848 Leithsville Road on June 14, after the juvenile allegedly tried to make a purchase using a fake ID.

Police said they found the juvenile to be in possession of false identification.
