Trio Had Synthetic Marijuana in Reservoir Park, Police Say

Hellertown Police say two men and a boy were charged with various drug-related offenses after they were allegedly found with marijuana and synthetic marijuana in a parked car at Reservoir Park.

Hellertown Police say two men and a boy were charged with various drug-related offenses after they were allegedly found with marijuana and synthetic marijuana in a parked car at Reservoir Park.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said Michael Steven Benedict, of the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike, Lower Saucon Township; Dylan Kurtz, of the 300 block of Main Street, Hellertown, and the boy were found by police patrolling the park at about 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29.

The men's car was impounded and they were subsequently arrested, police said.

All three have been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
