Marijuana, Scale Recovered at SVHS, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say a 17-year-old male from the township was arrested at the school Jan. 30.

A 17-year-old boy from Lower Saucon Township was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana/tobacco on school property, after township police say they were called to Saucon Valley High School the morning of Jan. 30 "for some items that the school wanted to turn over to police."

In a news release about the alleged incident, police said the items included "a scale, a small amount of marijuana and various tobacco products."

Police said that after the teen was taken into custody and processed, he was released to a parent.
