Man Who Passed on Shoulder Caused Crash, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Ethan Gaither, of the 1900 block of Waldheim Road, caused an accident when he passed another vehicle on the right at the intersection of Leithsville and Meadows roads.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a township man was cited for overtaking another vehicle on the right after he allegedly caused an accident at the intersection of Leithsville (Route 412) and Meadows roads.

In a news release, police said Ethan Gaither, of the 1900 block of Waldheim Road, passed another vehicle on the right—on the road's shoulder—and crashed into another vehicle that was making a left turn onto Meadows.

Police said no injuries were reported and that the vehicles sustained minor damage.

The accident happened at about 12:05 p.m. Sept. 22, they added.
