Man Wanted for Alleged Parole Violation Detained in Hellertown, Police Say
William Joseph Zaccario, of E. Columbia Avenue, Philadelphia, was taken into custody on Detweiler Avenue for an alleged parole violation for burglary, Hellertown Police said.
A Philadelphia man wanted on a detainer for an alleged parole violation issued by the state parole board was taken into custody in Hellertown, borough police said in a news release.
According to police, William Joseph Zaccario, of the 1400 block of E. Columbia Avenue, was taken into custody at a home in the 1000 block of Detweiler Avenue at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said Zaccario's alleged parole violation was for burglary.
After being detained, he was taken to Northampton County Prison, they added.
