Man Used Grandma's Debit Card Without Permission, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Kyle William Silver, 20, of Cherry Hill, N.J., used a debit card to purchase more than $1,450 in event tickets and is facing multiple charges of access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Cherry Hill, N.J., man used his grandmother's debit card without her permission to buy more than $1,450 in event tickets online.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said Kyle William Silver, 20, of the 100 block of Morningside Drive, had received permission to use the card to purchase a single ticket online.

However, "days later (Silver's grandmother) was notified by her bank that there was excessive activity on her account and noticed several transactions that she did not authorize," police said.

In total, police said Silver used the Lower Saucon Township woman's card to purchase $1,455.20 in tickets from StubHub and Electric Adventures between July 29 and Aug. 2.

Silver is facing multiple charges of access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property, according to the news release.

"Anyone having contact with Silver is requested to contact the LSTPD at 610-317-6110," police said.
