Man Lost Control of Dodge Ram on Slushy Road, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township police say a Quakertown man was cited for traffic violations after he allegedly lost control of the Dodge Ram he was driving and crashed on Rt. 378 on the morning of Jan. 4.

Lower Saucon Township police say a Quakertown man was cited for traffic violations after he allegedly lost control of the Dodge Ram he was driving and crashed on Rt. 378 on the morning of Jan. 4.

In a news release issued Monday, police said Christopher Coffman, of the 500 block of Juniper Street, was traveling northbound in the passing lane when he encountered a patch of slush and lost control of the vehicle.

Police said Coffman was cited for allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road and driving too fast.
