Man Lied About Ex-Wife Punching Him, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say David Wolf, 36, of Route 212, Springfield Township, lied when he told officers his ex-wife punched him in the back during a child custody exchange at Giant.

A Springfield Township man lied when he told officers that his ex-wife had punched him in the back during a child custody exchange, according to Lower Saucon Township Police.

In a news release, police said officers were dispatched after David Wolf, 36, of the 1700 block of Route 212, reported an assault at Giant, 1880 Leithsville Road, on the afternoon of April 17.

Police said a review of the store's video surveillance "determined that there was no physical contact and (that David Wolf) made a fictitious report."

Police said Wolf has been charged with making False Reports to Law Enforcement.
