Man Had 'Large Bag of Marijuana' in Car's Glove Box, Police Say

A Bethlehem man has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found in possession of 'a large bag of marijuana' during a traffic stop at Koehler Drive and Rt. 378.

A Bethlehem man has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found in possession of "a large bag of marijuana" during a traffic stop at Koehler Drive and Route 378.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said Zachary Alexa Pianowski, 19, of the 1400 block of Holland Avenue, was stopped at 10:45 p.m. Aug. 24 for alleged traffic violations and "suspicious behavior."

Police said a bag of marijuana was subsequently found sticking out of the glove box in Pianowski's car.

Pianowski failed field sobriety tests and was taken to a DUI center for further tests, they added.
