Man Had Heroin, Pills in Car, Police Say

Timothy Warris of Church Street, Richlandtown, is facing charges that include possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, according to Hellertown Police.

A Richlandtown man apprehended after police responded to a report of a theft at Dollar General, 3 Main St., was found in possession of heroin, "multiple narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia," Hellertown Police said in a news release.

According to police, Timothy Warris, of the first block of Church Street, was arrested after the items were found in his car on the evening of Aug. 11.

Warris' vehicle was later seized while police executed a search warrant on it, the news release said.

Charges of retail theft, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotic pills are pending against Warris, police said.
