Man Forged Checks, Stole Jewelry, Police Say

Police say 33-year-old Lower Saucon Township resident Ryan Green was arrested March 22 on a warrant for forgery, theft and receiving stolen property, after allegedly cashing forged checks and stealing jewelry valued at $4,000.   • DUI - On Feb. 25 at 2:09am police say Krystal Daus, 25, of 119 Main St., Ridgefield, N.J. was arrested for DUI, after an officer on patrol in the 600 block of Main Street observed her with her head down in a vehicle parked along the side of the road. According to police, the vehicle's lights were on and the officer went over to it to check on Daus's welfare. Daus was later determined to have a blood alcohol concentration of .19 percent, police said.
  • DUI - On March 12 at 2:33am police stopped Jesse Bilger, 28, of 2273 Kunsman Road, Quakertown, for an alleged vehicle equipment violation in the 1400 block of Main Street. Police say Bilger was subsequently determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of .14 percent.
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - On March 17 at 10:36pm police stopped Tyler Creighton, 19, of 9103 Easton Road, Ferndale, for an alleged vehicle equipment violation in the unit block of West High Street. According to police, during a subsequent consent search of Creighton's vehicle two marijuana pipes were discovered and seized. Creighton, who was arrested, will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
  • Forgery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property - On March 22 police arrested Ryan Green, 33, of 1996 Pearson Ave., Lower Saucon Township, on a warrant for forgery, theft and receiving stolen property. According to police, in late February Green stole checks, forged them and cashed them in order to obtain $1,090. Green also stole $4,000 in jewelry, which was later found in his possession, police said. Police did not identify a victim in either incident, but indicated the thefts occurred from within a unit block of Main Street. As of March 24, Green was being held in Northampton County Prison.
