Man Fled from Officers, Drove into Boulder, Police Say

A Bethlehem man was charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding and a number of traffic violations after police said he led them on a chase down Main Street in Hellertown that ended when he struck a boulder at the roadside.

A Bethlehem man was charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding and a number of traffic violations after police said he led them on a chase down Main Street in Hellertown that ended when he struck a boulder at the roadside, according to an article published by the Express-Times.

Michael Daday, 22, of the 900 block of Yorkshire Drive, was allegedly drunk when police attempted to stop him early Thursday,. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail following an arraignment before District Judge David Tidd, the article said.
