Man Drove Truck on SVHS Baseball Field, Caused $1,800 in Damage, Police Say

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Joseph George Polak II, of the 2400 block of Easton Road, drove on the field during the overnight hours of Dec. 14.

A Lower Saucon Township man has been charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespassing after police say he drove his truck across a Saucon Valley High School baseball field and caused approximately $1,800 in damage to grass.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Joseph George Polak II, of the 2400 block of Easton Road, drove on the field during the overnight hours of Dec. 14.

The press release didn't indicate whether the alleged driving is believed to have been recreational in nature, but a winter storm dumped a significant amount of snow and sleet on the Saucon Valley on Saturday, Dec. 14.
