Man to Be Cited Following Crash at Bingen, Black River Roads: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say Theodore Schlie of the township will be cited for allegedly causing an accident at the intersection of Bingen and Black River roads.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a township man will be cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic while turning left after he allegedly caused an accident at the intersection of Bingen and Black River roads.

In a news release, police said Theodore Schlie, of the 1800 block of Caryn Drive, was making a left onto Bingen from Black River when he struck the door of a vehicle operated by a Catasauqua man. 

"No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene," police said.

The accident happened Thursday, Sept. 26 at about 10:30 a.m., they added.
