Man Backed Up, Struck Car on Meadows Road: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Northampton man was cited after he allegedly backed into another car at Meadows and Friedensville roads.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Northampton man was cited for "Limitations on Backing" after he allegedly backed into another vehicle that was behind him at Meadows and Friedensville roads.

In a news release, police said James D. Rondish Jr., of the 1300 block of Canal Street, "was southbound on Meadows Road when he stopped and decided to back up," striking the other car.

Police said the accident happened Aug. 24 at about 9:45 a.m.
