Man Backed Out of Driveway into Passing Car, Police Say

A Lower Saucon Township man was charged with a traffic violation after police say he collided with a passing vehicle as he was backing out of his driveway in the 1300 block of Seidersville Road Dec. 13.

In a news release, police said Arin Allen, 36, "apparently lost his brakes" as he was backing out of the driveway at about 4:20 p.m.

Allen struck a car that was operated by a 23-year-old Salisbury Township woman who was westbound on Seidersville Road at the time, police said.

The woman—who was identified as Edylaine Fialtto of the 1300 block of Van Vetchen Avenue—was charged with driving without a license, according to police.
