Man Arrested for DUI After Allegedly Driving With Ice-Covered Windshield

Lower Saucon Township police say Gregory Alan Davis, of the township, was stopped on Wassergass Road on Feb. 12 and determined to be under the influence of alcohol.

Failure to clear a windshield of ice may have been what attracted the attention of Lower Saucon Township police to an allegedly intoxicated driver, according to a press release issued by the department Friday.

According to the release, police stopped Gregory Alan Davis, of the 3600 block of Winding Lane, Lower Saucon Township, after he was observed traveling west on Wassergass Road "with (his vehicle's) windshield obscured by ice."

Police said Davis was stopped Feb. 12 at approximately 1:11am near the intersection of Wassergass Road and Squire Lane.
